Thermistors are a class of sensitive components. According to the different temperature coefficient, it is divided into positive temperature coefficient thermistor (PTC) and negative temperature coefficient thermistor (NTC). The typical characteristic of a thermistor is that it is sensitive to temperature and exhibits different resistance values at different temperatures. The positive temperature coefficient thermistor (PTC) has higher resistance at higher temperatures, and the negative temperature coefficient thermistor (NTC) has lower resistance at higher temperatures. They both belong to semiconductor devices.
