NTC temperature sensor used in 5G autonomous vehicles
5G has brought people into the era of the Internet of Everything, with more and more collections of various information, and the collection of temperature signals, a physical quantity, is the most common. NTC temperature sensor, used to collect temperature. It has the characteristics of high cost performance, high temperature measurement accuracy, and fast response. It is the most widely used temperature acquisition component. Therefore, when new applications are produced, NTC temperature sensors are also most used.
Recently, Huawei announced that it will work with 18 car companies including FAW, SAIC, GAC, BAIC, Dongfeng Group, Changan Automobile, BYD, and GAC Group to jointly create a "5G automotive ecosystem". The implementation of 5G will lay a network foundation for the development of the autonomous driving industry.
One of the benefits that 5G can bring to autonomous driving is safety. Kai Yu, founder and CEO of Horizon, said in an interview with a reporter from China Electronics News on the eve of World Telecom Day on 5.17 that autonomous driving is mainly achieved in two ways in terms of safety.
The first is car intelligence, which means that the car can be equipped with sensors, processors, and software to allow the car to autonomously judge the traffic conditions around the car, make independent decisions, and control and evade. The second is an independent redundant system. A different independent mechanism independent of car intelligence, so that the car can know the various road conditions around it, needs to be realized through 5G. For example, a variety of sensors are installed at intersections, and the sensors tell each car in real time the more complicated traffic conditions, avoiding blind spots that the car's sensors can't see. The redundancy mechanism realized by 5G is combined with the sensor of the car itself, and the two systems work together to verify each other and improve the safety level. Statistics show that the combination of V2X and ADAS can cover 96% of accidents and reduce the risk of accidents by 80%.
Compared with traditional cars, self-driving cars use sensors. In addition to safety, they will also consider comfort and intelligence more. Equipped with hundreds of thousands of sensors is already very common. In terms of temperature detection: there are car interior temperature, seat temperature, air conditioner temperature, outdoor temperature, inverter temperature, power battery temperature, and air flow meter temperature.
The NTC temperature sensor produced by YXAUN Electronics has high reliability, good consistency and long service life, and can work normally in very harsh environments. The core components of NTC temperature sensor have passed CQC mark certification, German TUV certification and American UL, C-UL safety certification, and automotive-grade MF52, MF51, and MF58 have passed AEC-Q200 testing. MF58 series products have passed 100,000 endurance tests in the UL standard. The "5G automotive ecosystem" created by major automakers will drive the further development of YAXUN Electronics' NTC temperature sensors.
